My short documentary was screened last week at The Lonely Seal FF in Arlington, MA, and it was a terrific experience. This was my first film, and I was unsure of what to expect and more than a wee bit nervous. Hammad and his staff were warm and welcoming, and they turned the evening gathering into a comfortable, entertaining experience. The films were diverse and thought-provoking/eye-opening, generating some great conversations. This team has an eye for stories begging to be told! The theater was the perfect venue, too. I’m so glad this was my first experience as a filmmaker. I learned a lot in a comfortable environment surrounded by enthusiastic and interesting people.
