Lonely Seal International Film, Screenplay & Music Festival 

We cherish inclusiveness, independent voices, and stories aching to be told. We’re looking for positive self-starters to help grow our vibrant film, screenplay, and music festival! Below is a listing of our internships available:

Screenplay Festival Screener
10-15 hours per week, logging onto our film festival portal on FilmFreeway and watching feature films and documentaries, short films, music videos, or reading screenplays. You’ll then score each film and screenplay. We only want to program the best creativity we can find, so your opinion will be crucial to our continued success. One hour per week on Zoom with Festival Founder Hammad Zaidi and other key Lonely Seal staff members. We will discuss your experience and new tasks, and ask us any questions you may have.

Social Media Programming Associate
10-15 hours per week, helping us keep our social media up-to-date. Successful candidates will be responsible for posting updates, videos, and notifications on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. 

Lonely Seal Streaming

Programming Associate
10-15 hours per week, helping to organize filmed content, from writing project descriptions to setting up live-streaming events for films that launch on our platform. This is an excellent way to learn the ins and outs of a streaming service and what elements help a given film grow from obscurity to have an outstanding reach. 

Social Media Programming Associate
10-15 hours per week, helping us keep our social media up-to-date. Successful candidates will be responsible for posting updates, videos, and notifications on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Sponsorship Associate
10-15 hours per week. Successful candidates will assist us in building sponsorship decks and submitting them to sponsors online. You may also opt-in to screen some films and read screenplays submitted to us.

Lonely Seal Releasing 

Programming Associate
10-15 hours per week. This is an excellent way to learn the ins and outs of distribution. Learn about what types of genres sell to various countries and why.
