A warm, inviting atmosphere in a charming historic theater made this festival special. Hammad Zaidi is passionate about films and has a wealth of information about the industry; a scheduled, hour and a half seminar ran to almost three hours, and he has continued to communicate with me even after the festival’s close. I’m so glad Lonely Seal was my first in-person festival experience. It was great to see my film, Dear Lily, Love Patrick among other thought-provoking, beautifully crafted films.
