My screenplay, Sub Rosa, was a finalist at Lonely Seal and while I couldn’t attend because I’m based in Europe, and was so impressed that despite COVID they were one of the few festivals to host live events (with safety protocols, of course). It’s so important for filmmakers to meet and mingle. I hope I’m lucky enough to be selected for another project so that I can finally meet the wonderful founders of Lonely Seal in person.
